Oliau Inbsitute Committee's dance in aid of the institute fund was a great success. There were some thirty couple on the floor, and dancing was kept up till an early hour. Mr A. McLeavey was M.0., and the musicians were volunteer. A net gain of £3 10s resulted. This will be placed against the debt of £22 incurred for installing the wizard lighting appartus in the institute.
