BOWLING.
OTAKI RIXKS VISIT LOEVIN. Three rinks of bowlers from Otaki visited Levin last Saturday and played against three rinks of Levin club. The visitors won by points on tlie aggregate, "as well as in all three rinks. 'Ilie green played fast and truly, and the Otaki men expressed themelves as being highly pleased with it. The ladies of Levin Croquet Clu-b- provided an excellent afternoon tea for tlie players and visitors. On behalf of Levin Club, Mr I'\ G. Roe, vice-presi-dent, expressed the pleasure all the members felt at the renewal of friendly games so Jong played with Otaki, but which in recent years had fallen into desuetude. He thought this was due to Otaki being now joined to the "Wellington centre instead ■of Manawatu centre, and said he would like to see Otaki come into Manawatu centre again and resume their formerly frequent visits to Levin.
