Nothing was saved. The fire is believed to have originated in the boiler room. Part of the factory is twenty years old. The cheese factory was insured: £550 on the machinery and £375 (in the Phoenix office) on the creamery; £175 in the Phoenix office on the machinery, and £307 in the State office on the machinery.
