Tfbb press association. ) DAIRY FACTORY BURNED. ' Hawera, This Day. The Hawera Dairy Company's Tawliiti branch cheese factory, and creamery was completely destroyed by fire last night. Nothing was saved. The fire is believed to have originated in the boiler room. Part of the factory is twenty years old. The cheese factory was insured: £550 on the machinery and £375 (in the Phoenix office) on the creamery; £175 in the Phoenix office on the machinery, and £307 in the State office on the machinery.
