LEVIN SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having offered a small yarding of sheep and cattle at their Levin yards on Tuesday. The continued dry weather was doubtless due for a noticeable slackening. They quote:— Fat wethers 36s 8d; fat and forward ewes 30s; 2 and 4-tooth wethers 32s (3d; 2-tootli ewes 31e 7(1; s.m. ewes 27s 6d; cull lambs 13s 3d; light fat heifers £9 10s; empty 6tore cows to £7 15s. O>AIvI SALE. -Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:—At their Otaki sale on Wednesday offered a heavy yarding of sheep and a fair one of cattle. Most of the sheep submitted were of good quality and elicited keen competition, the entire entry being sold under the hammer at good prices. Cattle were slow of sale, chiefly owing to vendors, refusing to accept luling rates. They quote: Fat wethers to 36s lOd; 4 and 6-tooth wethers 30s 4d to 35s 9d; 2tooth wethers 27e to 28s; 4 and 6-tootli ewes 32s 4d to 38s 9d; 2-tooth ewes to 33s 3d; f.f.m. ewes to 29s 3d; cull owes lis 10c! to 18s 8d; woolly lambs 16s lOd to 19s 2d; cull lambs to 13s 3d ; weaner steers to £3; yearling heifers to £4 Is; store cows to £6; porkers 31s.
