■ Ipjttt PRESS ASSOCIATION.! BIG FIRE AT AKATARAWA. Wellington, This Bay. A disastrous bush fire occurred at Akatarawa, near the Upper Hutt, 011 •Wednesday. The flames obtained a good hold, and swept through the bush with great riapidity. A sawmill, whare, tramline and hauling engine, wjth '.valiia'blc timber land and winter fed, -.all were completely destroyed, jsssrs Baigent Baigent Bros., the. owners, estimate their loss at between £5000 and £6000.
