There is an improved demand for choice cabbage only. A few lines of choice cauliflower are offering and these meeting keen competition. Lettuce is in very good demand. There is fair enquiry for carrots, parsnip's and white turnips. jSpriug onions are selling well and marrows arc realizing good prices. There is an improved demand for swedes since last report. Fruit.—Desert 'and. cooking apples are plentiful and prices show a marked decline. Dessert and cooking pears are also selling at low rates.
