Veneration
A lady was giving a Scripture lesson on the subject of the prophet Elisha and the wicked ■ children who reviled him. She described how the aged prophet was feeibly making his way up •hill when the children came about him,, .jeered and ridiculed ' him, and called out, "Go up, thou bald head." She then proceeded to impress upon, the class the duty of being kind, considerate and respectful to elderly people. "I hope," she 6aid, "if any of you had been there pou would not have been so rude and unmannerly." "No, mum," decisively responded an urchin in front. "And what would you have done?" asked the lady. "I should have walked up to him kindly, mum, an' said as T 'oped 'e 'ad got 'is old age pension."
