The Military Appeal Board to-day received a letter from the SolicitorGeneral with reference to the appeal by Frederick Arness on the ground that he was an alien. The SolicitorGeneraJ stated that appellant having been born iii New Zealand was a natural born British subject and a reservist. The nationality of parents was immaterial. The appeal was dismissed.
