At the Suprtnie Court a verdict of not guilty was returned in the case of Tim Troy, Maurice Costeiio and Joseph William Scott, charged with conspiracy to cheat Alfred Crossley of £52 while playing a game of poker. ADDIN'GTON MARKET'. Christchurch, Feb. 7. At the Addington market there were large entries of fat cattle, store sheep and fat lambs, but a moderate supply of fat sheep. Fat sheep, sold irregularly, but with an actual decline in prices* Store sheep were in keen demand at advanced rates, the late showery weather having improved the feed prospects. Store cattle sold well as did ._fut pigs, but store pigs were much easier.
