THE APPEAL BOARDS.
(To the Editor). Sir,—The old principle "Mind your own business" doss not seem to appeal to some members of the Military Appeal Board. In a recant case they apparently thought that the neighbors of a sheep farmer could quite easily manage his farm for him while lie did his bit in the trenches. Of course the neighbors could easily tell him how to manage it. They are usually good at that. No doubt the appeal' hoard would gladly do the work of—let us say—the Wellington .Education Board while the latter august body humped their haversacks and went to the front, but while talking ,voting money, and enquiring into the private circumstances and religious teneits of objectors is a pleasant and exciting pastime, shearing and crutching and. dipping sheep is rather laborious and is not taken on for amusement. — .-.ours, etc., MI DATA CREDA PER CACIO.
