Competition was much. brisker than 'lias been the case at recent sales in tlio district, and all line offered were sold under -the hammer with the exception of one pen of young ewes, which was passed in at 37s 4d. Prices ruled as •follows Fait wethers 32s lOd, forward 4-tooth wethers 325, 31s Bd, good woolly lambs to 21s, m.s. shorn lambs 12s Bd, cull lambs 10s sd. Voung bulls, to £<3.
