4 [PEK PRESS ASSOCIATION.3 Wellington, February 4. The Hen. Dr. MeN'.ib, Minister of Marine, died on Saturday night. He had been ill four weeks. Be suffered a heart failure on Thursday, which caused considerable physical strain, but tho patient afterwards seemed to improve, until last night another attack came and proved fatal.
The 'tu'nerail will take place at Inveircargill on Wednesday. GISBORNE LABOR TROUBLES. .Gisborne, This Day. There is no change in the waterside situation. The men met this morning and confirmed the attitude of their repreesntatives (yesterday) regarding reinstatement. The men decided to await further developments. Meantime the s.s. Arahura is unable to discharge her cargo for Gisborne.
