Horticultural Show Committee Special Meeting

A special meeting of the Horticultural Show Committee was held on Monday, May 10. Present were: Mesdames I. B. Ritchie, J. W. Reed, A. Erridge, James Hansen, W. Adams, Miss D. Payne and Messrs J. Dalrymple and C. Walker. The meeting was called to see if arrangements could be made for the flower show to be held on January 4, to fit in with the celebrations.

After some discussion it was unanimously decided to hold the show on that date.

Messrs J. Dalrymple and C. Walker were appointed delegates to meet the council on May 24. A special general meeting is called for Jun 1, at 3 p.m., at the Council Chambers. All interested and members of committee please attend this very important meeting.
