Bannockburn v. Clyde Bannockburn travelled to Clyde on Saturday, Clyde kicking-off with the sun and wind at their backs. Curing the first half of the match Clyde held Bannockburn inside the latter’s twentyfive for the most part and gained a well-deserved try about five minutes before half-time. The try was converted by A. Campbell, bringing the half-time score s—nil5 —nil in favour of Clyde.

At half-time the Bannockburn captain, C. McElroy, was replaced by L. Crabbe. At the beginning of the second spell the Bannockburn forwards packed well, and good movements were seen among the backs, tries being scored for Bannockburn by M. Crabbe, L. Crabbe, L. Scott, Jocelyn converting one, the final score being Bannockburn 11, Clyde 5. The referee was Mr Eenton.
