During the month of April, 1948, the following books were issued: —Paysection, 415; “free” section, 180. Pay collection fees for the month totalled £lO 6s 6d, and this is a record collection for this particular period. A new issue of Country Library Service books was made in favour of the Library on May 3, bringing the Library’s present allocation from this Service up to 188.
