Arrowtown Mr W. H. James, of Christchurch, is a visitor to Arrow for the duck shooting season. Mrs E. IT. Thompson and grandson left for Wellington on Monday morning. Mrs Hamilton and Miss Mary Hamilton were passengers for Invercargill

on Monday? Mrs Wahrlich and daughter, Clare, are spending three weeks’ holiday in Timaru.

GLENORCHY Mrs Clarkson is visiting Dunedin. Mr Spencer, of Christchurch, is visiting Mr and Mrs V. Keay. Mr«D. Nichol, of Kaitangata, is visiting Mr and Mrs R. Baulin. Mr J. Forbes is visiting Dunedin. Mr and Mrs L. Robinson, Dunedin, who have been the guests of Mr and Mrs B. Aitken, have returned home, Mr and Mrs L. Groves arc visiting Dunedin.

Mr G. S. Liddell, of the Bank of New Zealand, Alexandra, has received notice of his transfer and is to be replaced by Mr Allan Brisk, of Lawrence.

Mr L. Crabbe, of Shannon Farm, returned to Cromwell on Sunday night after a week-end in Dunedin.
