ANZAC DAY

Cromwell Memorial Service

The Anlzae Day service, which'was held in the Athenseum Hall, was well attended, members of the various local organisations being present as well as citizens, i V. - !

The lesson and the reading were taken by Rev. N. R. Hooper and the Address by Mr G. W. Carrington.

After the service, the guides, scouts and returned men, led by the Alexandra Pipe Band, marched down the Street to the Memorial Grounds, where wreaths were laid bn the Memorial, after which the “ Last Post” was played.
