Table Tennis Club Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Queenstown Table Tennis Club was held on Thursday, April 22. The balance sheet showed that the club was in a sound financial position. The following officebearers were appointed: —President, Mr A. Curtis; vice-presidents —Messrs E. R. Hopwood, J. Keen, J. McDonald, E. Skinner, G. Cockburn and B. Marshall; secretary, Mr T. J. Donaldson; club captain, Mr G. Nelson; commit-tee-—Misses T. Biggar, C. Robertson, R. Muir, P. Wheatly, Mrs W. Smith, Messrs L. and R. Inder, J. Adams, H. Hensman, A. Curtis and G. Nelson. Challenge buttons were presented to the club by Miss C, Robertson and Messrs J. Keen and A. Curtis, and a cup by Mr G. Nelson. Rules were adopted governing the Keen Challenge Cup for play between Alexandra, Arrowtown and Queenstown. A hearty vote of thanks was extended to Messrs T. J. Donaldson and G. Nelson for their efforts towards the successful running of the club last season. It was decided to open the season on Tuesday, April 27.
