Wanaka Golf Club
On Saturday the men played a Stableford Bogey match and it was pleasing to note a number of new players. F, Jackson, playing very steadily, went out in bogey figures, but struck some trouble on the last few holes. Best cards were: —F. Jackson, 30—8 —3B; H. Harris, 13—18—31; M. Anderson 12 —18 —30; A. Allison, 20 —9 —29; L. Farrant, 19—7—26; F. Ewing, 8— 18 —26; D. T. Anderson, B—l8 —18 —26; T. Allison, 18 —8 —26. In the Ladies’ Bogey match Mrs H. Harris, the Central Otago Ladies’ champion, played a very creditable round of steady golf to be 3 down. Other good cards were: —Mrs W. Anderson, 7 down; Miss C. Benton, 7 down; Mrs L. Farrant, 9 down.
