ARROWTOWN W.D.F.F.

The annual meeting of the Arrowtown W.D.F.F. was held in the local schoolroom on Saturday, April 10, when Mrs Summers presided over a good attendance of members.

An apology wes received from Mrs E Thompson.

An invitation to the Queenstown birthday party to be held in the Parish Hall on April 28 was received. A letter of thanks was received from the secretary of the A. and P. committee. Two very appreciative letters were received by Mrs A. Scott expressing thanks for the two parcels sent Home! by'the Gibbston members.

Mrs Cockburu read the report on the Otago provincial meeting held in Dunedin in February. After the annual report and balance sheet were presented, the following were elected to office: — President: Mrs J. B. Summers. Vice-presidents : Mesdames R. Collingwood and G-. Ogilvie. Secretary: Mrs H. McLean. Advisory Board: President, vicepresidents and secretary. Committee: President, vice-presidents, secretary, and Mesdames J. Shaw and A. Scott.

Social Committee: President, vicepresidents, secretary, and Mesdames W. Saunders, G. D. Paterson, G. Hansen, W. Gibb, S. Stevenson, H. Douglas, 6. Bowler, J. Shaw, and E. Thompson. The secretary was instructed to write to Mr W. Hore requesting him to accept the position of honorary auditor. The bowls of autumn leaves presented an extremely attractive display, Mrs Walker and Mrs Ogilvie being placed first equal.

Hostesses for the occasion were-Mes-dames K. Haggitt, R. Collingwood and J. B. Hamilton.

The meeting closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
