Arrow Horticultural and Industrial Society
Mr J. Dalrymple presided at a committee meeting of the Arrow Horticultural and Industrial Society on Wednesday, March 24. The secretary presented a rough balance sheet of the recent show which showed that despite a decline in entries, owing to the hot, dry season, and to the restrictions imposed by the Health Department, it would no doubt prove a success. The secretary was authorised to pay out prize moneys. It was resolved to forward to the judges a letter of thanks and appreciation for the efficient way in which they had carried out their duties.
