Dr Baillie Welcomed At Queenstown

The Very Rev. Dr John Bailiie, professor of divinity in the University of Edinburgh, and former moderator of the Church of Scotland, accompanied by Mrs Bailiie, and the Very Rev. W. Perves Boyes, past moderator of the Presbyterian Church in England, were tendered a welcome at McKenzie Hall, Queenstown, last Thursday night. The Rev. P. Anderson presided. He said that Dr Bailiie and the Very Rev. W. Perves Boyes were men of international fame and he was glad to make their personal acquaintance. Other speakers who spoke on the same lines were the Mayor, Dr Anderson (a civic welcome), Captain Pont, representing the Salvation Army, and Mr W. Warren, representing the Anglican Church.
