Wanaka Junior Bowling In the semi-final of the men’s junior bowling championship singles at Wanaka J. Walsh (one life) beat E, Richmond (two lives) 19-12. In the final of the championship J. * Walsh beat E. Richmond 17-15. CROMWELL EASTER TOURNAMENT The Easter Tournament held by the Cromwell Bowling Club, experienced excellent weather throughout the days of play, the green in Cromwell being a little heavy owing to the recent rain. There were 34 entries for the fours tournament, the rinks being divided in order to make use of the Clyde and Bannockburn greens as well as the Cromwell green. SINGLES The singles were played on Sunday, March 28, on the Cromwell green, the semi-finals and finals being completed after tea. SEMI-FINALS Milne beat Hope 19—9, Mathieson beat Hudson 17—4. FINALS Mathieson beat Milne. RINKS Fourteen rinks have qualified to play on Monday, when the rinks and pairs will be finalised.
