Arrowtown Football Club
A special meeting of the Arrowtown Football Club was held in the Council Chambers on March 24, when Arrow and Country combined. Those present were: —Messrs E. J. launders, C. Allan, J. Allan, T. Robertson. W. Cotton, C. Walker, G. Douglas, J. Scott, F. King, J. Henderson, C. Kitto, B. Jackways, B. Fletcher, M. McEntyre, G. Elliot, K. Saunders. V. Hansen, S. Brown, W. Hore, and J. Dalrymple. The following members were elected to office for the coming year: —President, Mr E. J. Saunders; vice-president, Mr W. H. Thompson; committee —Messrs S. Brown, J. Henderson, W. Hore V. Gerkin, G. Douglas, W. Cotton, F. King, and W. McLean-, secretary, Mr P. Stapp; delegates, Messrs W. McLean and W. Hore; coaches, Messrs B. J. Fletcher and C. Kitto; junior representative, Mr J. Henderson ; social committee —Messrs F. King, B. Jackways, C. Allan and P. Stapp; selectors, Messrs C. Kitto, B. J. Fletcher and G. Douglas (club captain) ; referees, Messrs A. Erridge and B. Jackways, sen; umpires' —Messrs S. Brown, W. McLean, F. King and J. Henderson. A busy bee is to be held on April 3, at 2 pm. It was moved that a match with Dipton be played on April 10 and a match with Bannockburn be played on April 17. The secretary was instructed to write to the Riversdale Club to see when it would be convenient .for them to play. It was resolved that the committee go into the matter of jerseys. The subs are to be the 5s the same as last year and a drive will be made in the near future to collect them. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated the meeting.
