WANAKA Mr and Mrs Marshall, Wyndham, are visiting Wanaka at present. Mrs W. MeKegg has been visiting Dunedin. Mrs F. Forth has returned from Dunedin. Mrs D. Drummond has returned to Wanaka. Mr and Mrs Kennedy, Christchurch, intend to reside in Wanaka for the next.few months. Mrs K. Matheson and family have returned from Dunedin. GLENORCHY Among those who visited Dunedin for the Centennial Week were Mr and Mrs W. Dougan, Mr and Mrs H. Groves, Mr and Mrs E. H. Bryant, Mr K. Sutherland,\ Mr N. Groves, Miss B. Sutherland, Mis,s L. Clarkson, Mr E. Gaskell, Mr and Mrs Key, Mr L. Yeint, and Mr G. Shaw. Mr J. V. Cornish returned home after a visit to Dunedin and Christchurch. Mrs Thornton left for Dunedin, where she will reside. Mrs Alexander, who lias been visiting the district, returned .to Dunedin. Mrs Blake, Invercargill, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs W. E. Hume. Mr E. and Miss L. Eobinson left during the week, to visit Eeefton. Mrs Griffiths, Nightcaps, is visiting her daughter, Mrs P. Sharpe. Mr Aldridge, of Timaru, is visiting her daughter, Mrs P. Scott. Mr G, Cochrane, Queenstown, spent the week-end making alterations to the hall preparatory to the screening of pictures.
QUEENSTOWN Mr and Mrs B. Marshall and family have returned to Queenstown. Mr and Mrs Armour, Mr Gihnour and his sister, Mrs Lancaster, were at Dunedin for the Rotary Conference. Mrs McDowall left last Friday to visit her daughter and son-in-law at Blenheim. Misses J. Inder and T. Biggar left last week for Milford Sound, via the Milford track. Mr and Mrs Leo Ford, have returned from a holiday at Invercargill. Mr and Mrs W. Edwards, have returned from a holiday in the north. Mrs Keen and her mother, Mrs Laurence, accompanied Mr Keen to Dunedin for the Rotary Conference. Mrs Bridgewater has gone to Dunedin for a few days. Miss Betty Summers, left on Friday for a fortnight’s holiday at Timaru. Miss Beatrice Farrant, Mrs Beatrice Curtis and Miss Loel Ingles loft last Saturday for Dunedin where Miss Coombes, on Monday, March 15. Mr J. L. White, Blenheim, was the guest of his sister, Mrs J/. Thompson, Man street, last week. CROMWELL Mrs G. A. Francis, returned to Lauder after spending a few' days as the guest of Mr and Mrs F. W. Partridge, Cromwell. Mr F. Partridge, returned to Cromwell after visiting Auckland in connection with lodge affairs. Mr and Mrs Will spent several days with Mr and Mrs J. Trevathan. Mr and Mrs Foote, Dannevirke, are at present spending a few days with their son, Mr F. Foote, Cromwell. Mr Denis Vincent, Dunedin, who has been spending the past week in Cromwell, left for Dunedin last Friday.
