This bold jumper seems to have added to his stamina in the past year and it would cause no surprise if he Avas to play aii important part in the finish of this year’s Grand National Steeplechase. Two Successive Wins Benbecula. who in the past has been a hard horse to keep in training, seems to have become more solid with age. He won over a mile on the second day at the recent Wingatui meeting and on Saturday he scored an easy win over a mile and a-quarter at the Birchwood meeting. If lie remains sound he should win one of the main distance events over the Easter racing period. He has been nominated for the Riverton Cup and if sent to the post should lend interest ,to the race.
