Rabbit Skin Sale Report Prices Slightly Lower
As expected with this being the last sale on which the subsidy operated, a large catalogue was offered tts a full bench, of buyers. With the exception of runners, blacks and fawns, ail grades showed a decrease on last sales’ values from 4d to 9d on the average. The following is . the range of prices:— Broken,' to 37J per lb; milky, to 36d; summers, 36d to 38d; runners 69-ld to lOOd; racks, 78|d to lOOd; weevily, 12d to 22d; blacks, to 60d; fawns, to 62d; hareskins, to 24d; horse hair, to 40^d: A further sale is scheduled for March 16, 1948.
