Cromwell Jockey Club
Last Saturday night the Cromwell Jockey Club held a meeting to discuss various matters in connection with their forthcoming race meeting to be* held on, March 5 and 6, 1948. The programmes had been receipt! from the printer and were ready for distribution. Arrangements were also in hand for a general tidying up of grounds and buildings and it was decided that the privileges would be sold at 12 noon on February 7. Mr John Colling donated a £5 trophy for the jockey who rode the winner of the Cromwell Centennial Handicap. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair. ,<
