The Cromwell Home Servicemen’s Association held a successful dance in the Athemeuin Hall on Friday evening last. Queenstown and Cromwell were well represented McNamara’s Gaiety Band supplied the music.

Visitors to the Central Hotel over the week were: Mr and Mrs McDonald, Miss Joan McDonald, Mr J. McKay, and Mr D. Mills, all of Invercargill; Mr and Mrs Peacock, Now Plymouth; Mr W. Templeton, Dunedin; Messrs W. Buchanan and A. Gibson, Glenorchy; and Mr McElroy, Waitiri.
