BOWLING
In the Singles Championship at Arrowtown, J. K. Snell defeated B, Fletcher, R. L. Fletcher beat J. Fletcher and J. W. Reed beat W. H. Thompson. Remaining in the competition are (two lifers) E. Thompson, J. K. Snell and B. J. Saunders. One lifers, J. W. Reed, E. L. Fletcher, W, B. Gibb, W. Hore, B. Fletcher and G. Ogilvie. Twelve ladies, members of the Arrow Ladies’ Club journeyed to Bannockburn on Saturday, but were unfortunate in not winning games, the green proving too fast for them. However, a most enjoyable afternoon’s play was held.
