Roberts left on Monday morning for a short visit to Lauder and Dunedin. * • • Mr and Mrs Wright returned to Cromwell last Sunday night after a short holiday in Dunedin and Tapanui. * * * Miss Noeline Henderson left for Wellington last Saturday morning, to resume her dental training. * * * Jackson Kinraid and Max Fitzgibbon left Cromwell for Wellington last Wednesday morning. * * * Mr and Mrs M. C. Esson, who have j been on holiday at Pieton, returned home last Saturday night. * * * Mrs I. K. Muir, of Oamaru, and Miss Ngaire Muir, Dunedin, are the guests of Mr and Mrs R. J. Lawrie, Cromwell. Mr Jackson Kinraid, who is home on holidays from Wellington, is spending a few days in Dunedin. < « # • Mr Brian Eceleton, who spent the week-end as the guest of Mr R. J. Lawrie, Cromwell, and who was on the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, Alexandra, leaves for Wellington to take up duty in the North Island. * ♦ * The following bowlers left during the week-end to take part in the New Zealand Bowling Championships to be held in Dunedin this month: —W. E. Jelly, R. J. Lawrie, J. Storey, R. E. Austin, A. Pearson, R. L. M. Congalton, D. Anderson and I. Campbell.
