BOWLING
Sixteen rinks participated in the Arrowtown Bowling tournament held on December 27, the final being between a Dunedin rink (Taylor, Bundle, Rankin and Avent) and a Bannockburn rink /(E. Scott, W. Olds, T. 'Crabbe and J. Stewart), resulting in a win for the Dunedin rink by 8 to 6. Two rinks from Arrow played in the Bannockburn tournament on January 3 and met in the semi-final, Saunders’s rink defeating the one skipped by Ireland. In the final Saunders’s rink defeated a Dunedin rink skipped by Smith 8-4, winning the-tournament. Remaining in the singles championship with two lives are E. J. Saunders, E. Thompson, B. Fletcher and J. K. Snell.
