ARRANGEMENTS FOR QUEEN CARNIVAL

Opening night of Queen Carnival would be December 19, when a dance would be hold and the queens presented, it was decided at a meeting of Wanaka Queen Carnival Committee hold on Wednesday December 3. Proceeds of the dance will be divided between the three Queens. On December 26 a gymkhana and rodeo Will be bold at the Show Grounds. It was also decided to hire the three launches for one day in each of the following months: January for Visitors Queen, February for Sports Queen, and March for Fanner’s Queen.
