Arrowtown Bowlers Beat Alexandra Arrowtown won two of the three games in the Central Otago competitions against Alexandra on the Arrowtown green. Results were (Arrowtown skips first): —Ogilvie 20, Middlemass 17; Erridge 34, McGrath 9; Saunders 14, Hewitt 32. Arrowtown retained the Wilkinson Memorial Cup for the aggregate score, being 10 points up. Ogilvie and B. Fletcher withstood a challenge for the Ferns from Saunders and Stapp, winning the match 25 to 10. In a game for the Singles Star, Dalrymple, the holder, defeated Henderson. Two games were played in the Singles Championship competition. R. L. Fletcher defeated D. Thompson, and W. Master defeated A. Gibson. Women’s Bowling A match for the Silver Buttons was played during the week. The holders, Mesdames W. B. Gibb and I. B. Ritchie, defeated Mesdames W. Given and W. Here, 2(5—12.
