VALUES INCREASE Prices allowed an upward trend at the sale held on December 9, when another large catalogue was submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Prices generally' may be quoted from 3d to 16d per lb, firmer in comparison with the previous sale held on November 18. ' The following is the range of prices:— Third broken, to 50d per lb; second broken, to 80d; milky, 50d to 07id; summers, 49d to 50d; spotty bucks, 93 Jd to lOOd; spotty does, HOd to 112 d; weevilly, to 29d; third blacks, to 20d; second blacks, to 25d; third fawns, to 20d; second fawns, to 20dj hareskins, to 20d; horse hair, to 48Id; goatskins, to 2s; deerskins, to ss. The next sale is scheduled for February 10, 1948.
