SCHOOL FUNCTIONS CANCELLED

TJiscwr end of school year functions were cancelled at Queenstown after it was decided at short notice to close schools as a precautionary measure against possible spreading of the infantile paralysis outbreak in the North Island. Dux in the secondary department of the Queenstown District High School was Florence Ann Adams. Bon Herbert Lewis was' dux of the Primary School.
