DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (Livestock Division). CALFHOOD VACCINATION SCHEME AGAINST CONTAGIOUS ABORTION. Farmers desiring to have theft’ calves vaccinated under the above Scheme should make application to their local Inspector of Stock. Application forms for the purpose can be obtained from any Inspector of Stock. A charge is made for the service on the basis of Is fid per head for the first 14 calves and Is 3d per head thereafter for all animals vaccinated at one time. Applications should be submitted not later than December 31, 1947. Early applications are desired in order that work can. be planned economically having regard to the necessity for conserving petrol. An additional fee of ten shillings will be payable in respect of ALL APPLICATIONS received after the 15th January 1948.
