It tells the tale of the days when the law had not as yet eome to Texas, and highly-organised bands of hired gunslingers opposed Texas ranchers in the most savage range wars, decimating the great nomadic herds and ruining the men whs owned them. In the picture, Errol yiynn plays Clay Harding, a rancher who organises a band to barricade men in haciendas and defend the future of men’s homes with six-gun and Winchester. It is the story of the century ill Texan history that made Texas great.
