WANAKA LODGE DANCE

There was a good attendance of residents from Wanaka and outlying districts at a dance held by the Oddfellows’ Lodge in Wanaka Hall last Friday. Next year, Otago’s centennial, coincides with the centennial of the lodge. A competition recruiting new members has been held, and with the Wanaka allocation of members, the Lodge was given a grant and gave a free dance to the public. During the evening the Grand Master of Otago, Bro. Barnett, gave a short address. Music w r as played by McNamara’s Band, Cromwell.
