CHURCH MISSION WORK
The Busy Bees’ and Girls’ Auxiliary garden party, sponsored by the P.W.M.U. under the auspices of St. Andrew’s Church, took place last Saturday afternoon at the Manse. In the absence of the Busy Bee leader, Mrs T. Davidson, responsibility for arrangements largely devolved on Mrs B. Marshall and other former leaders —namely, Mesdames Curie, VV. Anderson, H. Davies, Veint, T. Houston, and Miss Thomson. The Busy Bees knitted cot covers for the mission field, and made scrap books, woollen balls and other articles. The mission work of the church will benefit by about £6O.
