Win for Wanaka In Shield Bowling Fixtures at Bannockburn
Wanaka won all games when three rinks of bowlers travelled to Bannockburn last Saturday to play shield fixtures. Results (Wanaka names first, skips only) are: —J. Pevrow 30 v. L. Henderson 8; R. Walker 25 v. J. Parsons 13; R. Stevenson 18 v. J. Menzies 14. In a game for the Handicap Pairs Buttons, J. Gardiner and A. Campbell (holders) defeated M. Miller and H. Harris 21-15.
