LAKE COUNTY A. & P. SOCIETY
At a meeting of the society held recently it was decided to hold the next show on Mart'll 17, 1948 and a committee meeting is to be held during December to arrange the programme. The meeting was well-attended and the following office-bearers were appointed for the ensuing year:— President, Mr D. R. Rowe; vice-presi-dent, Mr W. 11. Thompson; secretary, Mr E. J. Saunders; assistant secretary, Mr R. Colling wood; field steward, Mr A. M. Ritchie; press steward, Mr. W. J. Horn; auditor, Mr E. R. Hopwood. Mr R. Shaw was elected a life member. The balance sheet disclosed a surplus of £6O from the last show.
