GLENORCHY ROAD

Sir, —It was good to read your comments on the Glenorchy road question. It is also very encouraging to see that our representative in Parliament, Mr T. L.' Macdonald, is. continually raising this matter., As a resident of the district I am naturally particularly interested to see this road go through, but the Government must surely also realise what an asset this road would be from a tourist point of view. One wonders at times if the Government really wants to have this road constructed and it will be interesting to see what reply the Minister of Public Works has to make. I am, etc., Isolated.
