Mr and Mrs Mclntyre, Si ml Miss Reid. Invercargill, visited Queenstown over tin week-end.
Mr and Mrs 1). Cook, Invercargill, spent the Labour Day holiday in their Queenstown residence.
Mr and Mrs A. E. Wethey, Milton are the quests of their son and daughter in-law. Mr and Mrs 11. Wethey.
Mr and Mrs Stewart and their son, Ron, spent the Labour week-end at Queenstown. They were accompanied by Miss Doris Taylor.
Miss Audrey Smith, Invercargill, and Mr T. Heads, of Bluff, were among visitors who came to Queenstown for the Labour week-end. They were the guests of Mr and Mrs T. Donaldson, Hallenstcin street.
Messrs S, Goodley, road transport officer, Invercargill, and Mr McNeill, hns manager, Dunedin, visited Queenstown on official business. In conjunction with the Progressive League, some tentative arrangement was made in connection with a Ims shelter on the Frankton road.
Dr and Mrs Bra in well Cooke, who are on furlough in New Zealand, paid a visit to Queenstown at the week-end. In the Salvation Army Hall on Sunday afternoon tlie visitors gave some very interesting talks on life in India. Miss Mary Munro spent the Labour week-end with her parents.
