TO REMOVE TRANSFER MARKS

Some time ago 1 ironed a blue transfer on to some cream linen. Since then I have decided that the design, doesn’t appeal to me. Is there any way of removing the transfer marks? Dip a nailbrush into some methylated spirit and brush a small piece of the transfer design until it is removed. Continue in this way and finish by rubbing with a dry cloth.
