VALEDICTORY
Mrs H. Mathieson and family, who arc leaving the district to take up residence in Dunedin, were honoured at a dance in the Public Hall recently. A most enjoyable evening was had by everyone to the music supplied by Mrs D. Scott and Mr Ileffernan. During the course of the evening a presentation was made to Mrs Mathieson by Mr T. E. Bryant, who spoke in very high terms of the guest and wished Mrs Mathieson and family every happiness in their future. Mr G. H. Vernon was a very capable Master of Ceremonies.
