ARROWTOWN TENNIS CLUB

Mr Henderson presided at the* annual meeting of the Arrowtown Tennis Club held on Monday, September 29. Those present were Mesdames J. Henderson, A. Erridge, Misses J. Wilcox, P. riiompson and H. Summers and Messrs J. Henderson, W. Martin, V. Hansen, AY Scott, J. Scott and J. Hickson. Tlie minutes were read and confirmed and the balance sheet adopted. Officers elected were: —Patron, Mrs J. H. Douglas; president, Mr J. AY Henderson; vice-presidents, Dr Ferguson and Mr Walker; secretary, Mr A. Hansen; committee —Mesdames Erridge, Henderson and Shaw, Messrs Wilcox, Thompson and Messrs L. Stapp, J. Scott, and G. Campbell. The subscriptions were fixed at Ids for women and 12s (id for men. Subscriptions to be paid before November 1. Opening day is to be held on October 25. A new net is being procured by the club.
