THE WEATHER

The weather during last week was very variable. Sunday was cloudy to overcast with fresh north-west wind. On Monday there was a distant thunderstorm with increasing gloom. Heavy rain fell from noon until late at night. Tuesday and Wednesday were cloudy to overcast. On Thursday heavy rain began in the early morning and continued till noon with rapid improvement after that hour.
