Mrs E. R. Angelo is visiting her sister, Mrs Helen, Invercargil. # # * Miss Hamilton returned from Nelson last week, where she spent the winter. * * * Mr and Mrs (Houston have returned to Lumsden after spending a holiday in Queenstown. * * * Mr and Mrs D, Badcock returned to Queenstown last week and have taken up residence on the Eastern Terrace. # # Mr and Mrs T. H. Tallentire returned to Queenstown last week-end after spending the winter with relatives., t * * * Friday, December 5, has been fixed by St. Peter’s Ladies’ Guild as the date for the Rose Show and Sale of Work. Due notice of the fixture will be given next month. Growers of spring flowers are reminded of St. Andrew’s daffodil slioav on Friday, October 10. There will also be the usual sale of work and produce. Refreshments will be provided in the afternoon and evening.
