RABBITSKIN SALE
General Decline in Values
A largo catalogue was subnutted to the usual attendance of buyers at the sale held on September 23, when competition did not appear to be strong and as a result, values were again easier when compared with prices ruling a fortnight ago. On the average the decrease in values ranged from Id to Kid per 11). It was expected that prices realised last sale would be maintained at this auction, on account of the withdrawal of the 10 per cent, levy as from September 11, and the commencement of the 5s per 11) and 4d per skin subsidy on milky doc and small rabbit skins respectively.
